Computer Maker Palm to Buy Handspring

Handheld computer maker Palm announces plans to merge with rival Handspring this fall. Both companies have had large losses due to slack spending on technology. Palm says it will also spin off the business unit that makes the operating system for its devices. Hear NPR News.
