High Court Deadlocks over Agent Orange Case

The Supreme Court allows Vietnam veterans to file new lawsuits against chemical companies over Agent Orange exposure during the Vietnam War. A 1984 settlement had imposed a 1994 deadline for filing new Agent Orange claims. The Supreme Court's 4-4 deadlock lets stand a lower court's ruling allowing new lawsuits.
