Bush Hails 'Steady Progress' in Iraq

At a speech to soldiers and families at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Fla., President Bush hails the "good progress, steady progress" in the U.S.-led war to depose Saddam Hussein. But he stopped short of repeating an earlier assessment by White House spokesman Ari Fleischer, who said the military effort was "ahead of schedule." NPR's Don Gonyea reports.
