STEVE INSKEEP, host:

Good morning. I'm Steve Inskeep.

Cynics about government may take grim satisfaction in knowing the White House is for sale. It's actually a replica of the White House in Lawrenceville, Georgia. It has 13,000 square feet of floor space. It used to house American United Bank, which failed. Now, the property is on the market and zoned for commercial use. It does not have an oval office, does not have a rose garden, but it does have a drive-up teller window.
