The University of Baltimore is offering a new class on the undead. Students taking English 333 will study zombies. Professor Arnold Blumberg's class will watch 16 zombie films.

STEVE INSKEEP, host:

Good morning. I'm Steve Inskeep.

Most people who went to college remember at least one class that was deadly dull. A professor at the University of Baltimore plans for his class to be undead. Students taking English 333 will study zombies. Professor Arnold Blumberg's class will watch 16 zombie films, classic zombie films - as if there were any other kind. Zombies are already in the curriculum at Iowa's Simpson College, where students wrote a book on the great zombie war.

It's MORNING EDITION.
