When tobacco giant Philip Morris was handed a $10-billion judgment in a class-action lawsuit in March 2003, it happened in a Madison County, Ill., courtroom. It's a popular county for lawyers filing class-action lawsuits. Matt Sepic of member station KWMU reports that now some groups are criticizing the county for being a "plaintiff's paradise."
