Day Laborers Ban

NPR's Mandalit del Barco reports on a decision by the city council of Pasadena, Calif., to approve an ordinance that prohibits employers from stopping on the street to hire day laborers. According to officials in Pasadena, the ordinance is a response to complaints from residents who are concerned about safety.
