Secretary of State Colin Powell urges Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas to move ahead with implementation of the U.S.-backed "road map" to Mideast peace. Sharon says Israel will continue its policy of targeting Palestinian militants. Abbas has said he will not use force against militant groups for fear of triggering a civil war.
