Vatican Paper: Homer Simpson Is Catholic

The Vatican's newspaper has proclaimed that Bart and Homer Simpson are Catholics. That's because they pray before meals and believe in 'the beyond.' But Simpson producer Al Jean tells Entertainment Weekly there's no way Homer could give up meat on Fridays.

The Vatican's newspaper has proclaimed Bart and Homer Simpson are Catholics. That's because they pray before meals, and believe in the beyond. Never mind that the Simpsons actually attend a Reform Presbylutheranist(ph) church. Homer and Bart did convert in one episode.

Mr. DAN CASTELLANETA (Actor): (As Homer Simpson) Once you go Vatican, you can't go back again.
