Sharon Defends Killing of Top Hamas Leader

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon calls Saturday's killing of senior Hamas militant Abdullah Kawasme a "successful and very important" operation. But Hamas says the killing is an assassination and vows revenge. The incident comes as Secretary of State Colin Powell meets in Jordan with U.N., European Union and Russian diplomats to discuss the U.S.-backed "road map" to Mideast peace.
