Meeting with U.N., European Union and Russian officials in Jordan, Secretary of State Colin Powell presses Israel and the Palestinians to refrain from actions that could hamper progress on the "road map" to Mideast peace. Powell criticizes Israel's killing on Saturday of a senior Hamas militant, calling it an "impediment to progress," and urges Palestinians to stop attacks on Israelis. Hear NPR's Linda Gradstein.
