Survey: British Band Helps People Fall Asleep
MARY LOUISE KELLY, host:
Good morning. I'm Mary Louise Kelly.
The band Coldplay is holding down the number one spot yet again, but not quite in the way you might expect. In a recent Travelodge survey, Britons named Coldplay's music as the best to doze off to. The band also took top honors in 2008. The hotel company says Coldplay's, quote, "monotonous melodies" are great for inducing slumber. Canadian crooner Michael Buble came in second, beating Alicia Keys, Barry White and Mozart.
It's MORNING EDITION.
