The Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) are wrapping up a vote that will determine whether both groups should merge into a new organization that would be called the Alliance of International Media Artists. NPR's Tavis Smiley talks with SAG president Melissa Gilbert and AFTRA National President John Connolly about why they support consolidation.
