Postcard from Japan

NPR's Eric Weiner bids farewell to Tokyo, where he has been based for the past four years. Once poised to surpass the United States as the world's largest economy, Japan is now mired in recession. Even so, Japanese people enjoy an extremely high standard of living in what might be the world's first post-industrial nation.
