Palestinian police take over security responsibility for the Gaza Strip's main highway and open the road to Palestinians for the first time in almost three years. The move comes hours after Israeli troops pull out of the northern Gaza Strip, and militant groups Hamas, the Islamic Jihad and Yasser Arafat's Fatah movement declare a temporary cease-fire. Hear NPR's Linda Gradstein.
