Homeownership Month

June is National Homeownership Month. NPR's Tavis Smiley speaks with Marcia Griffin, president of HomeFree-USA, and Scott Syphax about how African Americans can purchase homes. HomeFree-USA is non-profit home-ownership education and counseling organization. Its mission is to educate, advise, prepare and assist low- to moderate-income residents with successfully obtaining the American dream of homeownership.
