Chemical Plants Seen as Targets for Terrorism

Federal officials warn that U.S. chemical plants are a viable target for terrorists. Many have increased security procedures since the Sept. 11 attacks, and the war in Iraq heightens the need for plant officials and surrounding communities to be on alert. One example: the Ciba Speciality Chemicals Plant in McIntosh, Ala. NPR's Debbie Elliott reports.
