Court Orders Removal of Ten Commandments Monument

A federal appeals court rules that a granite monument of the Ten Commandments must be removed from the Alabama Supreme Court building, saying its presence violates the constitutional separation of church and state. Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore says he placed the monument in the courthouse to acknowledge the moral foundations of the law. Hear NPR's Debbie Elliott.
