A federal appeals court orders a monument of the Ten Commandments removed from Alabama's judicial building, saying it violates the constitutional separation of church and state. The ruling is a blow for Chief Justice Roy Moore, who installed the 2.5-ton granite sculpture in 2001 and calls it a tribute to the moral foundation of law. Hear NPR's Debbie Elliott.
