Soul Singer Barry White Dies

Singer Barry White, famous for crooning seductive loves songs in his distinctive bass-baritone voice, died in a Los Angeles hospital Friday of kidney failure. He was 58 years old. White was one of the biggest soul stars of the 1970s. All Things Considered offers a remembrance.
