Food Labels

NPR's Joanne Silberner reports on changes being made to food labels by the Food and Drug Administration. This week, the FDA said it would require food makers to list the amount of trans-fats in foods to help consumers fight obesity. It also will loosen requirements food makers face when making food claims. But nutrition experts say consumers don't really pay that much attention to these labels and claims anyway.
