In London, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is expected to meet with British Prime Minister Tony Blair and urge the international community to cut its ties with Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat. Israel has accused Arafat of trying to sabotage peace efforts. In the Gaza Strip, some Palestinians say their lives have improved since Israeli forces pulled back from key areas.
