Liberian Rebels Close In on Capital

As Liberian rebel forces press government troops in the capital city of Monrovia, unarmed crowds confront the fighters, demanding an end to civil war in the African nation. Rebel fighters say they do not plan to take the capital, but are solidifying positions and awaiting international intervention. Hear NPR's Scott Simon and NPR's Jason Beaubien.
