Davis Recall Drive Qualifies for Ballot

State officials confirm that a Republican-led petition drive has received the support of enough voters to force an election to unseat Gov. Gray Davis. Davis becomes the first governor in the state's history to face a recall. State Rep. Darrell Issa, who funded much of the recall drive, declares himself a candidate to replace Davis.
