Several people are dead after a mortar shell slams into a church where refugees had taken shelter in Monrovia, Liberia's embattled capital city. President Bush has ordered about 2,300 Marines and 1,000 sailors to take up a position off the coast of Liberia to assist a contingent of West African peacekeepers. NPR's Michele Kelemen reports.
