Dispelling AIDS Myths
Last week, we interviewed Silvia Glover, the foster mother of a toddler with HIV who was prevented from swimming in a public pool. Following up, Dr. Luther Virgil explains many of the public myths surrounding how HIV and AIDS are transmitted.
Virgil is a physician with Integrated Minority AIDS Network Inc., or IMANI, a non-profit network of doctors who treat HIV patients.
