ACLU Suit Challenges Patriot Act

The American Civil Liberties Union files a lawsuit charging that the Patriot Act grants the government surveillance powers that violate Fourth Amendment protections against illegal searches. Parts of the law allow authorities to secretly monitor the books people read and search their records. Hear NPR's Jackie Northam.
