Pentagon to Shutter Anti-Terrorism Database

The Pentagon says it is shutting down Talon, its anti-terrorism database, which had been criticized for storing information on peace activists.

The Defense Department says Talon's usefulness has declined and any further data collected will be stored in an FBI system, called Guardian.
