Liberian Foes Embrace as Peace Force Swells
West African forces continue to arrive in Liberia on a mission to end 14 years of civil war and to oversee President Charles Taylor's resignation. And in the strongest sign yet that a June 17 cease-fire is holding, rebels and government soldiers stop fighting and embrace at a strategic bridge in the capital of Monrovia.
