Behind the Edwards Campaign: Native Iowan Tully
Rob Tully grew up in Dubuque, Iowa, where his family owned a lumber company. He was a longtime adviser to Iowa political mogul Tom Harkin. Now the 52-year-old lawyer has been tapped by Democrat John Edwards to run his Iowa operation.
Tully speaks with David Greene in a private cigar club in Des Moines — a club Tully opened in response to a smoking ban. It's part of an All Things Considered series on people behind the presidential campaigns.
