The ballot in California's Oct. 7 recall election is set, with 135 candidates confirmed. The race may narrow to about half a dozen higher-profile candidates, but if voters do recall Gov. Gray Davis, his successor could prevail by winning as little as 10 percent of the vote. The campaign will be brief, but promises to be chaotic. NPR's Ina Jaffe reports.
