Alberto Gonzales' tenure as attorney general was marked by criticism and crises, particularly over the Justice Department's warrantless domestic surveillance program and the firing of U.S. attorneys. Dahlia Lithwick, legal analyst for the online magazine Slate, talks with Alex Cohen about the events that led to Gonzales' resignation Monday.
