Wednesday marks the deadline for Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore to remove a monument to the Ten Commandments from the state judicial building, but the judge refuses to take down the display. The U.S. Supreme Court rejects Moore's request to block a district court's order to remove the granite monument. The district court ruled the display violated consitutional provisions for the separation of church and state. Hear NPR's Debbie Elliott.
