NPR's Juan Williams talks to Attorney General John Ashcroft, who is touring to support the U.S.A. Patriot Act. Congress overwhelmingly passed the legislation after the Sept. 11 attacks to fight terrorist threats. Civil liberties advocates have questioned some of the act's basic premises.
