Simon Quits California Race

Conservative Republican candidate Bill Simon decides to pull out of the California governor's race. Simon lost to Gov. Gray Davis in the election that preceded this year's recall effort. Hear NPR's Jacki Lyden and reporter Steve Julian of member station KPCC.
