They Were There: Memories of the March
Listen
We continue our week-long series looking at the March on Washington. We hear from some of the people who were participants in the day's activities. NPR's Tavis Smiley talks with The Rev. William Sloane Coffin, a former chaplain at Yale University and a former pastor at New York City's Riverside Church, about his role in the 1963 march.
