Novelist Richard Russo

Russo won a Pulitzer Prize for his novel Empire Falls, which was also a national bestseller. His work focuses on the working class. One reviewer writes, he transforms "every day people and seemingly ordinary events into the quintessential." Russo has written a total of five novels, including Mohawk, The Risk Pool and Nobody's Fool, which was made into a film starring Paul Newman. His latest book is The Whore's Child and Other Stories."
