New research published in the Journal of the American Medical Association suggests that dark chocolate can lower blood pressure. In a study of 13 volunteers with mildly high blood pressure, those who ate white chocolate saw no benefits, while those who ate dark chocolate lowered their blood pressure by an average of five points.
