An Israeli government commission of inquiry criticizes the Israeli police for the shooting deaths of 13 Israeli Arabs during pro-Palestinian demonstrations in October 2000. Meanwhile, a senior Hamas member is killed and more than two dozen others are wounded after an Israeli helicopter fires missiles in the Gaza Strip. Hear NPR's Linda Gradstein.
