Susan Roesgen of member station WWNO in New Orleans reports on the death of Taft Williams, a sergeant with the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, based in Ft. Carson, Colo., who was killed by a bomb in mid-August. Sgt. Williams is the first soldier from New Orleans to die in Iraq and according to his friends, he joined the service to get away from the city's rough streets.
