The Voyager I robotic probe was launched in September 1977 on a supposed five-year mission to explore Jupiter and Saturn. It is still traveling and transmitting data today — three decades later. Ed Massey, the manager of NASA's Voyager Interstellar Mission, talks to Scott Simon.
