Nuclear Power Industry Eyes Comeback
Some analysts believe the U.S. nuclear power industry is poised for a resurgence. Utilities in Virginia, Illinois and Mississippi are studying the possibility of building new nuclear reactors. No new plants have been built since the 1979 accident at Three Mile Island. Congress is at work on a new energy bill that would improve the climate for nuclear power. NPR's Steve Inskeep reports.
