Music retail chain Tower Records closed in December, due in part to the online music craze. But the man who founded the original chain hasn't folded with the business. At 81, Russ Solomon just opened R-5 Records, a new record store in Sacramento, Calif. He plans to make it work with knowledgeable staff and deep catalogue.
