No Splicing and Dicing for Online Presidential Debate
A Democratic debate put on by Yahoo, The Huffington Post, and the online magazine Slate will not take place as promised Thursday.
The debate was supposed to be the first online-only presidential "mash-up," but that's not what it turned out to be. Pre-recorded interviews with the candidates will be posted Thursday, but Yahoo will no longer offer their users a chance to splice and dice the raw video footage. Instead, users will only be able to click and watch the candidates' answers to a series of questions.
