Plimpton's 'Paper Lion' at 40
Forty years ago, writer George Plimpton published one of the greatest sports books of all time -- Paper Lion. The book described his exploits playing with the Detroit Lions in a 1963 pre-season game. NPR's Mike Pesca spoke to Plimpton a day after the Lion's game this Sunday, when Plimpton and the 1963 Lions were honored by the team.
