Former Citibank executive John Reed is set to become interim chairman of the New York Stock Exchange at a time when the exchange faces a host of legal and operational problems. Critics say the NYSE does not meet the same standards of board structure and independence that it imposes on the companies it regulates. Hear NPR's Jim Zarroli.
