Head of NARAL to Step Down
NPR's Madeleine Brand talks with Heather Boonstra, a public policy analyst for the Alan Guttmacher Institute, about where abortion rights stand 30 years since Roe v. Wade, the landmark Supreme Court ruling that made abortion legal in the United States. Kate Michelman, the leader of the National Abortion Rights Action League, this week announced she is stepping down after 18 years.
