Half a dozen Republicans took to the floor of the Senate Tuesday morning, each denouncing remarks about the Iraq war by Democrat Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts. In a published report last week, Kennedy called the Bush administration's stated justifications for the war a fraud. The Republicans said the senator could question the president's policies but not his motives. And shortly after noon, Senator Kennedy came out to respond.
