First-Time Political Candidate Clark

NPR's Mara Liasson notes that in the days since retired Gen. Wesley Clark announced his candidacy for the Democratic nomination for president, he has zoomed to the top of several national polls. But he has also made some mistakes, which illustrate the pitfalls faced by someone running for office for the first time.
