Changing Sexual Behavior to Combat AIDS

All this week, health officials are meeting in Nairobi, Kenya for the 13th International Conference on AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Infections in Africa. Public health officials have been trying for years to change sexual behaviors in order to combat the continent's high AIDS infection rate. NPR's Karen Grigsby Bates talks about the conference with Dr. Desmond Johns, director of the Joint United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS, known as UNAIDS.
